Weeknotes: Week 8 - Q1 - 2025
I’m starting to slip a little with publishing my weeknotes so this week’s notes are coming in hot behind last weeks.
The effect of late weeknotes is that I forget what I did. There was lots of boring admin, it’s time again for lots of quarterly accounting so I’ve been sorting that out.
I had a few interesting meetings about new projects and also a great webinar with some Swedes (as in people from Sweden not the vegetables) about carbon reporting and the technology they are creating to help with managing things in their industry. I won’t say much more but lovely people doing fascinating things. I also had another progressive day down in Sydney including a slightly heated discussion about how publicly funding research organisations are directly competing with and squeezing out small commercial orgs for implementation work. I might write up some more thoughts about this.
That’s it really. I have a stack of doing work backed up that I’ll be tackling next week. There’s now a lot of interesting things I need to get done that I can start to talk about soon.
I’m in Adelaide next week for some project meetings and site visits. I’m hoping I might be able to get over to Alberton but that might be a stretch.
I promise to start making these posts much more interesting in the coming weeks and hopefully writing a few more bits and bobs in between.
Love to you all.
